We have sailed on RC before. We are Platimum cruisers. We chose this cruise as the time period suited our schedule and that of our grandchildren who traveled with us.

It was a hectic cruise but very satisfying. The Jewel of the Seas lived up to its reputation. The public areas, having been renovated, were lovely. Food in the dining room (Tides) was satisfactory. The service was excellent. The Wayfarer was adaquate for breakfast and lunch. We skipped the specialty rest. as we ate in them on other RC cruises.

The entertainment offered was also satisfactory and worth seeing.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Our family occupied two connecting cabins, 1144 and 1146. The cabins were spacious and well appointed with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was roomy for a cruise ship. The balcony was wide and chairs comfortable. The only minor negative was that when you looked out at the ocean, the downward view was obstructed by the coverings of the lifeboats...no big deal.

The tv had limited offerings.

I would not hesitate to request these cabins again.
