Worst cruise ever. I have been on a few cruises and this was the worst. Our main gripe was the noise, we stayed in room 6241 Fwd avoid this area. After the shows, 6 nights out of 8 a DJ set up his equipment and we had to endure boom boom boom until 3am. We complained and we were told they would monitor the noise. They didn't even come to our room to see how bad it was and didn't ask the DJ to turn it down even though they said they had, in fact if anything it was louder. They did give us compensation, but would have preferred the peace, it's a shame because the beds were so comfy.

The entertainment was poor and only lasted half an hour, and found there wasn't much to choose from. The comedians were ok but were set up for the Americans. They were lacking in staff and waited ages for someone to come and serve us drinks, staff were rude and lacking in customer skills. Our waiting staff in the restaurant were excellent though. Food wasn't good. Smoking was allowed in the casino and vista bar, thought it was illegal?

The docking ports weren't great, most of them you couldn't walk in to the towns as they were so far away, yet Carnival put on shuttle busses but wanted to charge you a fee, it should have been free, or take us to better ports. We arranged our own excursions as carnivals were too expensive, in fact everything was expensive on carnival.
