Cabin: Signature Suite

We selected the cruise by the Itinerary not the cruise line or ship. We usually travel on midships cruise line size. Our travel agent suggested we try Celebrity Reflection large ship. We selected a Signature Suite which included the unlimited specialty dining restaurants together with premium beverage package at no additional charge. Our suite included a special smaller dining room, Luminae for suite guests. Our suite was located on the 14 floor. Upon check-in we were taken personally by Guest relations to our suite. Our butler met us upon our arrival checking for any particulars we may need or like during our cruise. Our first night we dined in Luminae which we were totally disappointed with as were several other passengers. None of us returned for the rest of the cruise.

We selected a night in the Aqua Class Suite dining room which we much preferred; although, we only dined one evening due to the variety of Specialty Restaurants. Tuscan restaurant served excellent sea bass, The Porch specialty is their delicious cold seafood tower which we highly recommend. The Lawn Club has the best steaks on the ship with a delicious salad bar. Qsine is an eclectic selection of food tapas size which is great for sharing and tasting. Bistro on Five offers sushi, rolls, dumplings, etc. with the decor to transport you to a sushi restaurant on land. Coming from New York, we felt the sushi was average. The service in all of the specialty restaurants were excellent. Murano is the most elegant restaurant on board offering Chateaubriand for two cooked to perfection, lobster cooked table side with a delicious sauce. All selections were excellent and the service is impeccable - fine dining at its best. The buffet was average. The main dining room we never visited. For us, Celebrity Reflection earned very good due to the variety of dining options.

If we were to travel without the package included with our room, we would not have rated the ship as high. The cover charges for the Specialty dining is expensive; although, the cruise line does offer packages. Ports of call and tours offered were very good. Many venues for a variety of music something for everyone all night long. Celebrity orchestra, dancers and singers were very good. Some other shows were very good to okay. Canyon Ranch Spa speaks for itself. Fitness center good.

Cabin Review

Signature Suite

Cabin SG

Signature suite cabin had high ceilings, large veranda, large bathroom with jetted tub and rain shower, a little tight at the end of the bed yet a nice nice living room with bar and mini fridge. Interesting there was a jetted tub and rain shower on the balcony.
