Cabin: Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

We have just returned from our honeymoon. We chose the Aft balcony cabin. It had fantastic views. The cabin was spacious and at a very high standard. The Ship was very clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. The ship had lots to do. There is always something going on. The Aft Cabins get a lot of the noise from the Spice H20 bar (on top deck) so if you go to bed early then probably best to avoid or wear ear plugs. It didn't bother us as we were in the party anyway. The ship can hold a mass of passengers but you honestly cant tell as there's so much room to move around and it never seemed crowded (apart from the main pool).

We did rise early so we didn't experience much queues at the buffet. The buffet was to choice of place to go for food as it is top notch. From Steak cooked to perfection and masses of variety of Chinese food, salads, cakes etc.. you name it, its there. We did go to the Tropicana and Savory restaurants but there's far more choice at the buffet and its immediate food, no waiting. The O'Sheehans bar and grill was lovely and 24hrs.

The ports were nice but unless you book an excursion there's not a lot to do other than shop. Most of the ports are gated so you cant go for a walk. I didn't travel with our children but there are lots of activities for them. The water park is brilliant. The crazy golf is fun. The activities are timed so check out the times. The pools are crowded so we avoided them. The cocktails are all fresh. I would highly recommend the ultimate drinks package as each round of drinks is expensive.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Fantastic cabin. Very spacious and set to a high standard. It's a disabled room which we didn't know until we arrived. It has a self opening and closing door! Annoying when in a hurry ;-) It has fantastic views, Truly stunning. It's a little noisy with the parties every night at Spice H20 Bar on top deck but it didn't bother us.

Port Reviews

Miami

A stunning port. Beware of the taxes charged to your account when buying drinks etc while you are still in Florida waters!

Belize City

The boat that fetches you ashore is fun. The guy is hilarious. It's a beautiful port again but not a lot to do other than shop if you don't book an excursion. It's another gated port. You cant walk around.

Costa Maya

There is a pool here and a mini beach. It's stunning. It's bigger than the previous ports. There are dolphins here you can see and take part with without travelling. I didn't book it only because the enclosure they were in was tiny and I didn't want to support their captivity. But they were cheeky and seemed to love to show off. The sea was very rough here.

Cozumel

By far the best port for us. It's huge and not gated. You can walk to your hearts content. You can go out and explore. It's a real nice port. The one I enjoyed most.
