We first went to a Salmon hatchery, then to Mendenhall Glacier and finished at a salmon bake. 
Glacier was very impressive and thoroughly enjoyed the salmon bake. Hatchery visit was informative but quite short.

We actually did two separate excursions in Skagway, The City tour with days of 98 show and the Good time Girls and Ghosts walk.
The City is quite small to tour, however the Days of 98 show was excellent, don't miss it.
The Good time Girls and Ghost Walk was the best excursion of the whole trip, great fun, great guide, very entertaining and highly recommended.

We did the walk through the rain forest, just four of us with two guides. It was very interesting, not that far to walk, maybe about a mile, but very wet in the rain. main disappointment was not seeing any bears. It was also a bit on the expensive side .

Although the guide was good, it would probably have been better just to go into Victoria on our own via the shuttle bus.

We did our own thing in San Francisco for four days prior to boarding the cruise. Great city with lots to do. We did all the usual tourist things. Alcatraz, Fishermans Wharf, Sausalito etc.

We had breakfast in Sabatinis which was always excellent, we did have dinner in there one evening and although the food was good, probably not worth the extra cover charge.We had dinner one evening in Crown Grill which was really good and worth the extra.
