We chose this cruise as we wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We have done nine cruises before but this was our first time with Princess, and as it was a special occasion we decided to treat ourselves and booked a suite for the first time ever.

Embarkation was very smooth, probably the best we have ever had.

Very impressed with the ship, particularly as wherever we went, we could always get a seat in the bars/theatres/presentations etc. This has not always been the case especially on Royal Caribbean.

San Francisco

We did our own thing in San Francisco for four days prior to boarding the cruise. Great city with lots to do. We did all the usual tourist things. Alcatraz, Fishermans Wharf, Sausalito etc.
