After previous cruises on Dream and Celebration, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed,we had no hesitation booking a week on Majesty as a last minute deal. We have to say that this ship is in dire need of a major overhaul. Dream and Celebration have three speciality restaurants each, two of which change the menu midweek. They also have a dedicated coffee lounge serving speciality coffees and cakes. Majesty has one speciality restaurant whose menu never changes and no coffee lounge. The food in the main restaurants and buffet is at best average. There are a lot of 'dead spaces' which could be put to much better use.

We had to accept a deck 4 outside cabin as we did book only a few weeks before sailing. It was, to be polite very cosy. Only one of us could get dressed and the other person had to sit on the bed and wait their turn! In truth the cabin was only really suitable as a single. Even the comedian on board during his show said that cabin fever had been discovered on Majesty! The bathroom towels which once were white and fluffy are now thin and grey. They should be thrown overboard. The whole ship is tired and neglected.

As usual the staff and the service were good as was the entertainment.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside twin

Extremely small. Imposisible to get ready together. Towels old and grey. Should be thrown overboard. No fridge. Only room for one chest of drawers. A small dresser. Only one chair. Should reall be sold as a single cabin. Deck 4 Cabin 467.
