This cruise was actually 2 week long cruises joined together. The first week was Athens to Barcelona, visiting Santorini, Kotor, Messina and Naples. The second week was Barcelona to Rome, visiting Cartajena, Gibraltar, Marseille, Genoa and Livorno. The ship was beautiful with great eating places and a wonderfully friendly, helpful crew.

We chose this cruise as we had never been to Genoa or Cartajena before and whilst we had been on lots of Princess cruises we had not been on Royal Princess before. We were not disappointed.

We had cabin B133 which was a balcony cabin . Lots of people complain that the balconies on Royal and Regal Princess are very small but we found that the balcony was a reasonable size. The cabin had the usual dressing/storage area but the shower/toilet area was very small. Our cabin was towards the front of the ship and had hardly any passing corridor traffic.

Cabin BE

Cabin was the usual Princess layout but if I had a complaint it would be that the toilet/shower area was very small. Cabin B133 is towards the front of the ship, not too far from the lifts and stairs but far enough that there was no noise from passing corridor traffic

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Spain)

This is a beautiful port. Much better than I expected. We simply just get off the ship and wandered around.
