This was our first cruise that we had been on, always feeling it was not for us. Anyway on strong recommendation we decided to try a relatively easy cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines. It was myself and wife who went and....... Wow ! From leaving Manchester and then embarking all went smoothly. We were in awe of the size of the ship, and thought with the number of people getting on it would be an age. Not so, embarkation was smooth and at the right pace. on the check in we were given our cabin number which proved to be beautifully appointed, with a sea facing balcony. For the whole of our trip we slept like babies in the very comfortable beds .It was great to watch the sunsets from our balcony, and wake to the ship docking in our next destination. Sailing was smooth and we got used to the movement within 1/2 day.

The standard of décor and cleanliness on board was excellent, as was the dining experience in any of the many restaurants we used.

Entertainment was varied and of good quality, and with all the other activities available, it was impossible not to be occupied.
