Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We started out by waiting in a very slow long line to check in after security. The security line was fairly slow too. We are platinum and thought we would have a very speedy entry, but that was not the case. My husband, who is 77, needed to sit down because it was taking so long. I have no idea why the lines were so deadly slow.

We got onto the ship finally and of course the Windjammer was jammed with people. We got our lunch and went to our room. We were in our first balcony room and it was very nice. A little more space than an interior and the lovely view was terrific. We were really happy with the room, #8288.

We thought the food was not as good as previous cruises, maybe the line is cutting back. Our wait staff was very attentive and took excellent care of us in the main dining room. Not so good was the staff in the Windjammer - used to be they'd bring coffee or juice, etc, but that never happened while we were there.
