We have cruised with Carnival many times but this is our last. They have gotten progressively worse and I will explain why. We had a family of 13 who went with us and we chose carnival because the price was right. Sometimes you get what you pay for. First off- the staff could care less if you are happy because their tips are built in now and they aren't trying to impress. So service and friendliness is truly lacking. The cleanliness was an issue as well. Most likely because of the wild crowd on board our ship. The hallways were filled with drunk young people and I certainly don't recommend carnival for families with children.

The worst part was that on our last stop, the captain cancelled it due to 'high winds." It was carnival's private island so I guess they overbooked it. There was No wind and No whitecaps. It made for good jokes throughout the day for our family but not a joke to us who paid a lot of money for this cruise. We departed the Island area within minutes of the announcement as if they were trying to hide something. Never again will we sail carnival and we were regulars! PLEASE spend a little more and choose another company.

Beds were placed together as we had requested but we had family members whose beds were not placed together. They asked their steward and he stated that they should have requested that before cruising. They were in M244. They explained that they did request it and he gave in and did it. Just not trying to please!
