Done many cruises but overall this cruise was a disappointment. The ship is wonderful with , according my opinion, to much, much entertainment. Food in the main dinning is ok. Been with other cruise liners and was more impressed with their food. Main concern was the service attitude of the staff and cleanliness of the ship. The week before our cruise they had an outbreak of Noro and I would assume that they should take extra precaution. So they didnt.

Service is my main concern. Mainly of the bar staff. Colleagues seems to be more important than the (paying) guests. Went to the guest services and never had such a rude answer. The complaints I had (bad service, very noisy cabin) where not possible on this ship. " you are on the best ship of our fleet". Asked for the manager and finally they came with a solution concerning the cabin but still did not flee welcome at all.

First time RCI but for me never again: unpersonal, unfriendly staff and mediocre food unless you pay additionally for specialty dinning (excellent food and great service in 150 Central Park).

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C2

Worst cabin ever.

PRO

Large almost double sized balcony

CONS

- no privacy on balcony

- next to the cabin is a galley kind a area. This is used for cleaning / distributing the room service for this deck. It starts pretty early in the morning with slamming doors, falling plates, loud talking of the staff.

- above this cabin is a jacuzzi. The engine made the walls etc vibrate so even more noise

Park view is fun but more a gimmick to over price these cabins. I prefer a ocean view balcony. Thats why you are on a cruise isnt it? To see and smell the sea

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Rented a car through Expedia and drove around. Good road conditions and some ok sites to visit.
