We live just outside of Los Angeles and it was only an hour drive to the peer near the Queen Mary. It really convenient and saves money leaving from LA. The boarding was easy and the line moved the entire 30 minutes from start to finish.
My wife and I brought our daughter (19) and her girlfriend for the trip and they had a great time meeting other kids their own age.
The food, entertainment and services are good and the kids enjoyed staying out late.
