Cabin: The Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony

We have cruised the Getaway before. There was a little physical issue in our lives and we wanted to go on a ship we were familiar with and the ports were not too far from the US.

We booked the Haven category and had an ADA room. The boarding was smooth and we were escorted to the Haven around 11:30 AM. There the Concierge welcomed all and gave us some information, especially about the first day and what was available. The Haven Bar was open upon boarding and lunch was available at noon. Substantial "snacks" were being presented by servers walking around the Haven sitting area and bar.

The rooms were soon available and we found our room comfortable, clean, beautiful flower bouquet of flowers waiting and a bottle of "bubbly" :-)

The Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony

Handled a wheel chair very well. Plenty of closet, drawer and shelf room. Large bath with stand up shower, a full sized tub, and large enough to move in to the bathroom with a wheelchair. Small, but nice balcony. A large window. Couch, Chair and a seating arrangement with a table that could be moved back and forth or completely removed. Table with three chairs. Coffee service.
