had never sailed on a ship this large before. learned a few tips though. get to the cruise terminal early. my wife and i got there at 10am and were thru check-in by 10:20. getting there early also gets you a lower boarding number. we got #1 boarded quickly with no issues. we booked a mini suite w/balcony. really nice room. large bathroom plenty of space all around your id card controls the electricity in the room. they didn't tell us that beforehand. very nice cabin steward, really took care of us. we have come to expect that from NCL.

plenty of things to do on the ship. book your shows online before you sail. it's easy and helps get you the times you want. they go fast if you wait until you are onboard. same with dining except you can book those from your cabin on the tv. burn the floor was a really good show and we enjoyed it. also the 2nd city comedy was fun as well. food was plentiful and we enjoyed pretty much everything. had dinner in both moderno and cagneys. great food and service. cagneys was our aniversary nite. they gave us a cake and sang to my wife and i. she loved it

the only really complaint we had was that a lot of the small shows were held in the atrium and those seats filled fast. that area was not made for that function. they would be better off in a theatre. disembarkation was a breeze. we usually carry on our bags. we were off the ship and thru customs by 8:15am. they started at 7:45am. all and all we had a blast and would recommend this to anyone and are already looking at the next trip
