Four of us (60 -70 year olds) just completed a wonderful 7-night cruise of the Hawaiian island aboard the Pride of America. This was my first NCL cruise. The trip was wonderful and the ship is as others have said, a hotel. Little time is spent on the ship; it is very comfortable and the food was good, service fine.
The ship is not as large as others I've been on (most recently Celebrity Equinox). The balcony stateroom was VERY small, as was the balcony. The balcony fit two small chairs and one small "table." The balcony was clean but not really well maintained (rust, for example.)
The room was well maintained and clean; daily cleaning was fine, though it did take two days to remove two glasses used for iced tea; there was someone else's sock found under the bed; and we never received the 2nd bathrobe for our room. Surprisingly, there was plenty of space to unpack our clothing.
Small room and very small balcony. Plenty of room for clothes (surprisingly). Balcony needed some painting.
Beautiful port! Sea turtles; monk seal.
