The cabin was fine - if a bit small but more or less what was expected

Gets you into Rome and out again (barring late italian Ladies).  Gave us time to visit the Forum and Palatine Hill. The 1.5 hour coach journey to get there can be tiring and there is just too much to see of Rome in this way (but we'd spent a long weekend there before - so just wanted a guided tour of the Forum)

Taormina is to be recommended with the amphitheatre, a bit busy but a great place - watch out for the coffee!

Just embarked and disembarked - looked a little grubby from what minimal amount we saw - hopefully the sites were better?

Genoa

Transfered us to the main port area of the city (about 5 miles away from the docking location).  Took the little train up to the Basillica and views were great!

Been before, went to see finished Upper Barracka gardens and drink a real cup of tea!

Malta (Valletta)

Took train ride around OK - stopped on a hill for good views and left at old quarter, walked back slowly.  Looked fairly grubby

Excursions – our comment about English is relevant to 2 of our excursions being cancelled, due to “lack of interest” this means not enough English speaking people wanted the tour, first MSC staff blame the tour operators, then lack of guides, when you point out the contract we have is with them and not their sub-contractor, they then quote the small print at you.In main dining room, squashed in, not a lot of room between tables, not seated next to other English speaking people, we had Germans either side and couldn’t really talk as our German is non existent and their English was not great, we/they tried.
