Like Most cruisers, I read the reviews of many people who had sailed on the Anthem of the Seas some good, some not so good. From my perspective it was all terrific. Getting to and parking at Bayonne was incredibly easy. Parking people were polite and helpful and check in was breeze. The ship was spotless and well taken care of. Don't care for the people who put there food trays on the floor in corridor after eating but not the ships fault. Cabin was great with lots of room and in our case the bed was right by slider, really made you feel connected to the ocean. One thing I did learn about booking a balcony cabin is do not book a balcony cabin next door to one that has more then double capacity. Mine was a guaranteed cabin so I did not have a choice. The last two times I've had one, I have been next to parents and children and it just gets loud. When there on the deck its even worse.

My wife and I loved the complimentary dining venues. Staff was excellent, quick, accommodating and food was warm and tasted great. Not a bad experience all week. We tried 270 for lunch and the solarium bistro and its was a small menu but fine. The buffet was nice and Royal Caribbean seems to put more emphasis on quality instead of quantity, which worked for us. Absolutely loved the shows, and entertainment, some was a little out there but fun.

A special shout out to the live bands in the music hall, Draw the line was a Aerosmith tribute band and was terrific ! The great thing about the live music they were real musicians playing every note live, like you would see in a club. Many of the musician's played several venues and played there hearts out. Bermuda was nice, Boston was to close to home to bother getting off ship.. In closing great ship, staff and entertainment, what else could you ask for ??
