I was interested in doing the islands of the Western Mediterranean and after a fair amount of research the Costa Fascinosa had just what I wanted.

There were any amount of queries from friends and family...why Costa? My answer was ‘the route’.

I must say that from the point of embarkation the whole trip was a delight. We had a mini suite which was neat and clean, fruits, sparkling wine, a large room that allowed plenty of sunshine. A 40ft balcony that wrapped around the suite was convenient to sit out and enjoy the sunsets.

Mini Suite with Balcony

Cabin MS

The mini suite was at the rear end of the ship. The room was spacious with a 40 ft long balcony were we could sit and spend some quiet time watching sunsets over the Mediterranean. There were many windows and so a lot of sunshine which helped us not to feel claustrophobic. There were the usual amenities of a mini bar, wall safe, fruits, sparking wine, essential toiletries etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room steward asked us if we would like to have our pillows changed.

We were happy with the mini suite.
