Filthy carpeting in our stateroom, messed up dinner reservations and more, we will not be cruising on NCL again.
Good food and variety at the buffet -- kudos to the chef. Food and service in the specialty restaurants (except Summer Palace) was awful--long wait times for food to come. All our reservations showed wrong times and numbers. Even after correcting them, reservations were not right. We gave up and cancelled them all.
Comedians were entertaining, but did not appreciate the sales pitch for books/trinkets by one of them.
Unbeknownst to us, our stateroom (small interior room) was directly below a stage where a band, and its loud bass thumped and music played until close to midnight. After a long day of traveling to get to the ship, it was miserable trying to get some sleep. The carpet had several white and black stains – it was filthy; good thing I took my slippers as I did not want to touch it at all. On top of that, the safe would not work so there was no way to store things securely. Not sure if all refrigerators were stocked with drinks in all rooms (our neighbors’ was), but ours was not. No big deal there though. We went to the concierge the next morning about the music problem and carpet but was told there were no other rooms and that they would let the entertainment people know. The music was not as loud the rest of the trip, but a new room would have made a difference for us.
We did not do any site seeing in Seattle.
We didn't take any excursions because of the prices...for a family of four many were cost prohibitive. But we did hike in the mountains and enjoyed the beautiful scenery! Lovely!
Was very pretty!
Though we didn't take any excursions, we did enjoy visiting the town and hiking in nearby trails!
The city is beautiful. Biggest draw back was that our cruise docked at 6:30 p.m., which meant many shops were already closed for the day. Still, we loved exploring the town with the limited time we had.
