My sister and brother in law planned this trip for our family, including 8 children 9 and under. Embankment was smooth, but we left port over an hour and half late, making us the late at every port. Our room was nice, but we do wish we had paid more for a balcony for the view during this cruise. The things I did not like about this cruise line are:

1. There were so many extra expenses after the initial payment. We had to pay to get to and from the cruise dock, Sodas were extra ($2 a pop), if you wanted steak at dinner, it was $20 extra, and two of the restaurants on the ship cost money to eat there. Ridiculous, I felt swindled at every turn.

2. We were late to arrive at EVERY port, and not just by 30 minutes or so, it was hours! We waited for 2 hours to get off at Juneau because we were late to the dock and had to take tender boats ashore. When you only have a few hours at each stop, you do not want to waste them. In Skagway, Ketchikan, and Victoria BC we were able to dock right at shore but we still arrived so late. When you plan on tours and excursions, being on time is necessary.

Port Reviews

Skagway

Skagway is beautiful, and the town is fun to shop in.

Ketchikan

A beautiful city, we only wish we had more time ever there. The totem museum was really interesting and we enjoyed the lumberjack show.

Victoria

A neat city with Beautiful buildings

Seattle

Didn't have time to do anything in Seattle
