I have been on at least 70 RCL cruises and am Diamond plus with about 530 points. I am writing to tell frequent cruisers about how disappointed I was with my back to back sailing on the Liberty of the Seas from 5/15/16/-5/29/16. First, RCL has changed its policy on who can go into the conceirge/suite lounge. In early Feb. Diamond Plus, Pinnacle, & Suites were allowed in the lounge. Now, only Suites & Pinnacles are allowed in that lounge. RCL has downgraded Diamond Plus out of that lounge & allows them to go only in the Diamond lounge. This has created several problems. First. Diamond plus guests can no longer sit & talk with Pinnacle & Suite friends that they had made on previous Liberty cruises. This is aggrivating & disappointing. Second. because the Diamond Plus guests have been sent back to the Diamond lounge, the Diamond lounge is so overcrowded that you can't get a seat between 4:30pm-6:00pm,& there is a line to get drinks of at least 20 people stretching from the bar to the lounge door. To make matters even worse, some Pinnacle guests are coming to the Diamond lounge in order to sit & talk with their Diamond Plus friends, making the lounge even more overcrowded.I just can't believe that RCL would show such little respect for its Diamond & Diamond Plus loyal cruisers. Other problems on this ship were that the coupons for some free internet & a free photo were not working & you would have to go to the front desk & stand in line to get the charges reversed. The elevators kept breaking down & I had to call twice to get my safe & tv repaired.I would avoid this ship if I were you!
