My husband and I went on this cruise to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. This was our first cruise on Carnival, we previously cruised on Royal Caribbean. We chose this cruise for it's itinerary which included the Tracy Arm Fjord and Glacier Bay. Our cabin was Oceanview Cabin 1164 mid-ship on Deck 1. For the most part it was a quiet cabin, except it must be located over some kind of storage or equipment room as there were sounds of grinding and barrel rolling that occurred right at bedtime and early mornings. The room was very clean...but is definitely showings signs of wear and needing updating. The room service and cabin steward were great.

The Dining Room service was a little hit and miss. The entire crew were very friendly and eager to make things right if they weren't, but the overall service was very slow. The food was also hit and miss....some dishes were absolutely wonderful and others were barely recognizable. We enjoyed all of the ports and the scenery was breathtaking. We were unable to view Tracy Arm Fjord due to the ice in the waters...but instead went to another Fjord that was extremely breathtaking. The ship layout was very difficult to navigate your way around as the decor is extremely overdone and every deck looks like the next. Only a few areas to get out on the deck. We loved the White Mountain Pass Train excursion and the Tram in Skagway. We will probably not cruise Carnival again.....prefer Royal Caribbean.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

A little noisy late at night and early morning. Needs updating, showing it's age.

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

Nice dock area and shops were close by....very clean quaint port.

Vancouver

Didn't really have time to explore this port and the views were a little industrial.
