Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Mid-Ship Oceanview Porthole Window

If you are tall or heavy, the cabins are too small. Person over 6 feet tall will have problems using the cabin bathroom. Cabin lighting too dim at night. Food was excellent. Buffet staff slow to clean tables, stood at service area talking. Not enough seating in buffet area.

Avoid La Cucina if you like juicy chicken or pork. Cagney's and Le Bistro are excellent. Staff in Summer Palace seated us in poor location (near storage of dirty dishes and waiter's station) while lots of other tables were available. It may be because we were not in high end cabins.

Ports were interesting and people were friendly. Shore excursions available for all ability levels. We needed and received help with wheelchair bound passenger. Some bars understaffed and took orders based on how loud and pushy the traveler is not based on time waiting. One elevator would not stop on deck 12 while another elevator would constantly return to deck 6.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Oceanview Porthole Window

Cabin OF

Cabin bathroom too small. Tall people can hit heads on wall. Enter shower and toilet areas sideways. Step up to enter bathroom difficult with knee problems. We had excellent cabin steward and cabin very clean. Bed could be more comfortable and seating less modern and stylish but more comfortable.
