My husband and I are in our mid-twenties and have been on 12 cruises between the two of us and know how great a cruising experience can and should be. Growing up his family always sailed Carnival and my family sailed multiple cruise lines including one carnival ship. My husband's confidence in Carnival is what was ultimately the deciding factor for choosing the Pride for our honeymoon. First off, my husband and I are easy going, relaxed and love being on cruises. The positives of the Pride - the itinerary, the size of our suite, cleanliness and our friendly room steward.
Now - Some things to consider before booking the Pride.
1 - Your room and the ship will squeak, rattle, shimmy, groan and creak the ENTIRE cruise. I am one that has a hard time sleeping with a ticking fan at night. If this bothers you (or even if it doesn't) multiply the loudness level and also add it the rattles creaking and squeaks at all different sound levels and rhythms. We had towels shoved everywhere we could find them - the room steward probably thought we were nuts. Not all noises could be cured or found with the towel shoving.. It was the same noise level if it was really wavy or not.
