We took this cruise because it was easier to get to the four Greek destinations by cruise ship. We have cruised with Norwegian before so we knew what it was like. We would say it was okay, but as a Silver level Latitudes member we still paid full price without offers of an upgrade when the discounts were happening on all the cruise discount sites. They did offer one free amenity which was a three speciality dinner package. We did use that and two out of three specialty dinners were good, but the third one was not so good. The ship is about average for entertainment, quality of food service, and other amentities. The destinations were our number one reason to go on this cruise and we took two shore excursions which were good to Olympia and Delos out of Mykonos. The two excursions were pricey, but worth the extra money for convenience and experience. The Jade is okay, but it is beginning to show its age. Needs a little updating of facilities. Some of the staff are okay, but their enthusiasm is just average. We did not participate in some of the activities on board as we have done in the past - just not as enthusiastic as other trips. Best part was dinner at Cagney's, Haine Magic show, and buffet was very good. Otherwise, just average on board. Not sure if we will do another Norwegian trip as this was our 6th one with this line. We will probably consider Royal Carribean next time with Oasis level ship. We did Oasis last year on a trans Atlantic cruise to Barcelona and that was fabulous. So Norwegian really is okay but we give it three stars.

Family Inside

A little small for three, okay but still small for two. Upper deck was fine.

Port Reviews

Corfu

Walked to the Old Fort

Santorini

Took the tram to the top, walked around, and then walked down the donkey trail, nice views!

Venice

Just walking is a big long heavy and tedious experience. Be prepared for crowds, the People Mover, the bridge, and no bus from Norwegian or signs.
