Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

We have been on 17 other cruises prior to this one on the Getaway. We chose this ship because of its size and newness and thought that this class of ship would bring a different experience than our previous times to Roatan, Belize and Mexico. It certainly did that...but not for the better.

The ship is huge and just looking at it from the port, we were so excited. The reality is that a large part of the ship is made up of the Haven, which is a special area for suite guests which has a pool, dinning, rooms and whatever else they were hiding behind lock and key.

Additionally, another very large part of the ship is all of the specialty restaurants. We tried several, as they came with our package, but geez....what a waste of space.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Average size. Large bathroom with large shower. The smallest balcony in the entire world. A waste of money to have.
