Chose cruise because the VISTA was a new ship and believed it would be an uplifting experience. Had cruised with Carnival twice before and both times it was great. Cruised on the Breeze across the Atlantic ocean.

Cruise was probably the second worst I have taken. The worst being on MSC. Rather than a long dialog I have listed the 'plus' and 'minus' features of the cruise along with one safety item

Cabin 4C

Excellent size, great steward, lack of amenities, diluted shower wash, no replacement of soap, poor TV, poor TV free movies, only 1 220 volt outlet and 2 110 volt outlets. Placing life preservers under bed a definite plus. Closet space adequate. Quiet room

Barcelona

Explored on our own. Lovely city. Two days there covers all the porimary attractions.

Marseille

Nice city to visit. One day was sufficient.

Florence (Livorno)

Could use two days to see major sights.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Great city. Need a few days to see major sights. did not get off ship as we have been to Rome several times.

Naples

Great place. Did coastal tour by ourselves on local bus. Could use two days at this port.

Crete (Heraklion)

Really not worth stopping at. Have been there before.

Rhodes

Nice city but nothing special. Many other similar places. Have been there before.

Izmir

Docked at another port. Epephus is spectacular sight and well worth visiting. One day is sufficient.

Did on our own. Great city. Spent two full days sightseeing.
