I went on this cruise with a friend, my second cruise (first one on Carnival). We choose this cruise since it went out of Charleston, close to where I live in Myrtle Beach. First off, I was not impressed with the parking situation at the port. It was very confusing and took forever to finally park. It costs $65 to park. There was a bus to pick us up and take us to the terminal. When we departed, was dropped off a long way from the car and had to walk back with luggage.

The ship was beautiful, lots to do onboard. The cabin was very nice, we had a balcony with great views on the 7th Floor. Our steward was very nice and greeted us by name every time he saw us. Every time we left the room, he came in the check if we needed clean towels, etc.

The formal dining room was nice, food was excellent but a little on the slow side. We typically ate around 6-6:30 and took till almost 8 to get finished. I was disappointed that lobster was an extra charge (was not on my last cruise). The lunch food was great, Guy's burgers were the best!!! The pasta bar was awesome !! They do need more bartenders, service was slow during peak hours. Unless you're a heavy drinker, the unlimited alcohol drink card isn't worth it, drinks were $8-9 each with tip included. All of the service people were very nice.

Parking was terrible and took forever to get parked. When leaving, was dropped off far away from the car and had to walk with luggage.
