We chose this cruise to visit Istanbul and Dubrovnick. Unfortunately the recent bombings in Turkey caused MSC.to drop it from the itenary. We still went on the cruise and had a wonderful time. Great food,great service,great cabin,GREAT everything. To those who gave this ship bad reviews, get real. We are a couple in our 60,s and have travelled all over the world. If you book MSC Magnifica you will love it. We dined in.Quattro Venti resteraunt 6nts and oasis buffet 1 night and found both excellent. We bought Allegrissimo drinks package before we left home and saved £150 on drinks and coffee and ice creams. We did all excursions on our own so easy as all transport needs are at every port. They all operate to have you back in plenty time for ships departure. We will definitely book with MSC again. Do not be swayed by negative reviews, so glad we were not.

Stunning views of Venice as ship sailed down main canal.
Bari
Not very pretty, but worth a look.
Mykonos
Stunning. 30 min walk to town, but public bus on port if required. Town is beutifull with quaint alleys and sea front cafes.
Athens (Piraeus)
Fantastic. Our 2nd time in Athens,public bus x86 5 mins from port,just ask policeman at port. Athens is unbelievable. History everywhere you look. Do not miss it.
Dubrovnik
Heaven. 30min walk to old town. Public bus at port,just ask shop keeper.Bus does not accept euro, only kuna. Old town is fantastic,cable car views are brilliant, Croatian people are very friendly and helpful.
