The ship was lovely. At one port we had to walk through two other ships that were not Viking ships, we noticed that our ship was much nicer than either of the others. The cabin was spacious enough, and was better laid out than any other cruise ship we have been on. The dining was excellent, the portions were just right; we were not "overfed" which was a plus. The entertainment was delightful with much of it being local performers. The entire staff and crew were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The included shore excursions were excellent. We spent two days in Budapest before we embarked, so we should have skipped the Budapest tour. The embarkation and debarkation process were made easy and seamless.

We have already scheduled another Viking Cruise for September 2017. Everything was very good - friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, quality of the excursions, cleanliness of the ship, and quality of the food. It could not have been better. We especially enjoyed being given water in our room and as we exited for an excursion. Perfect vacation.
