Second cruise for myself, and the first for my wife. We absolutely loved the ship, the service, the food, the entertainment....everything! We'd be hard-pressed to come up with anything that could be improved, save perhaps for fewer fees on board. We left Manhattan (embarkation went smoothly) for Port Canaveral and took the shopping shuttle to Cocoa Beach, where we had lunch at the Shark Pit Bar and browsed around the original Ron Jon shop. From there we headed to Great Stirrup Cay. Unfortunately, the weather prevented us from taking the tender boats to the island, so we continued to Nassau and arrived there about 12 hours early. The cruise director staff did a great job putting together a new daily program to keep the guests entertained while we headed on. Arriving in Nassau, we had dinner on the waterfront at Cagney's while looking at the nighttime lights in the harbor. Cagney's was unbelievably good. Nassau was fun, lots to see and do. We did some shopping, went to Cabbage beach and just explored on our own. Then headed back to New York.

Dining faves: O'Sheehan's, Cagney's, Garden Café, Ice Bar was worth $20 for 2 drinks

Entertainment faves: Second City, Rock of Ages

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin was very neat and well appointed. Cabin steward was excellent. It was just what we needed for the two of us.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Very nice time in Nassau. Straw market was worth the trip, if you can handle the pushiness of the vendors. Cabbage beach was nice ($20, all you can drink, you keep your coconut). Got crowded by about 11:00. Again - be prepared for folks to be pushing their wares on you (trinkets, cigars, jet ski rentals, hair braids etc).
