I just got back from our week long cruise to Bermuda yesterday. I would never sail with NCL again for several reasons. I am writing this review now while everything is fresh and I'll give you as much detail as possible from start to finish so be patient....it's likely to be lengthy.

EMBARKATION. I organized this cruise for myself and 12 family members to celebrate 4 big birthdays. I answered many questions including cruise documents. Our travel agent told us we did not need a birth certificate if we didn't have a passport, just our license. I told them it specifically stated on the website a birth certificate was needed in addition to a license in lieu of a passport. We arrived and 2 of the 13 did not have passports nor birth certificates. They were almost kept from boarding but someone allowed them to call home and have pictures of their certificates emails and texted in as proof of identity. I thought it was very nice of them to allow these copies to pass. Once that was all in order, getting on was pretty smooth. The line wasn't terribly long and moved quickly. Our embarkation time was set for 12-1230.

SHIP. Once on board we explored the ship. It truly is beautiful inside. The theaters and dining rooms were all gorgeous and very clean. Be prepared to walk because the ship is huge. I preferred to walk from forward to aft on deck 7 through the casino. Made the trek seem much quicker than walking down a hallway of staterooms. Because there is so much you don't really realize how much you're walking anyway. The pool is super tiny for the amount of people they have on board. Also there are NO slip resistant floors anywhere around the pool or on the stairs around the pool. Two of the women in our group slipped around the pool. On my way to the waterslide I slipped and fell down 8 stairs! I hurt my arm and tailbone and then had a massive headache. Why wouldn't they have slip resistant floors or steps ESPECIALLY around the pool and waterslides? Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen to me. Flip flops make the floors even slipperier and when you go bare foot, you burn the crap out of your feet because the deck is so hot! No winning here.
