This was a family get together and 3 nights was a good option for us. Embarkation experience was excellent but do advise on line check in beforehand. Lovely cabin, spacious, nice decor. Windjammer buffet cramped. Difficult to move around in so would not recommend. Dinners in Grande dining room normal cruise fare- nothing outstanding and food often not warm enough but Shadiek was wonderful waiter and knew what he was doing. To avoid the crowds we thought we d try breakfast in American Icon a la carte restaurant. Very disappointing- staff inexperienced, wrong orders brought, food cold and generally not very nice. How difficult is juice, bacon and eggs? Breakfast recommendation is for express breakfast in American Icon restaurant. Throughout the ship, staff were obviously under pressure and lots looked miserable. Long queues at all bars and staff no time for pleasantries. The whole experience felt very impersonal and no sense of being welcomed on holiday. Wouldn't like to be on this ship for any longer than we were as felt like a cash cow being milked by RC. Customer services leave a lot to be desired. If you enjoy cruising then this ship is not for you because you will not feel as if you are on a ship. If you love visiting shopping malls then you will love it. Won t be considering RC for future cruises.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

Plenty of room with nice decor. Very comfy bed. No toiletries provided other than soap/ shower gel. Liked folded towels, a bit retro.
