This was my fourth cruise to Bermuda, second on Holland America. I had cruised twice before on Norwegian.
GETTING THERE:
My parents live near Boston and I spent Friday night with them. My husband drove us into the Black Falcon Cruise terminal and dropped us off around noontime/ 1pm on the day of departure. The drop off was easy and quick and we made it through security in a flash. Once on board, our luggage was quickly delivered and we settled into our week long holiday. So, high points for easy boarding.
The were three of us, my parents on their very comfortable bed and me on the fold out couch. It was close living and more than one week, and I doubt we would have been friends by the end. But the stewards kept the room very clean.
I put a five because a rating was required and Saturday departure day in Boston was sunny and warm. I suggest non-locals take a tour of Bunker HIll, nearby and fascinating place.
I love Bermuda and feel quite at home in Hamilton. Do take advantage of the mild temperatures to walk around and see this lovely spot. I recommend the Swizzle Inn or having a drink at the famous Princess Hotel in Hamilton.
