This cruise was chosen for the route and destinations/ports visited along the way. Just days prior to sailing we were informed that one of those destinations was to be bypassed. Too late to cancel and book on another cruise - or in fact, do anything about it at all. The reason given by Princess Cruises was problems with the ship and it was unable to travel at the necessary speed to meet the destination time at Yorkey's Knob. A likely story !!!! If there was an issue with the boat it should have been fixed, not make all the passengers pay by denying them a visit to one of the most anticipated destinations. The compensation of $100 added to everyone's cruise account was a damned insult. Win/win for Princess Cruises as the "compensation" had to be spent on board.

The ship's lifts were another issue. At no time during the cruise were all of the lifts working.

Our shower delivered lukewarm water for the duration of the cruise although the water in the basin was hot. Go figure. Read more
