Recommended by travel agent. This was our 12th cruise and first with REGENT. We are use to first class travel and accommodations and having sailed first class on the QE 1, I will have to say REGENT far exceeded our expectations. The shore excursions were first class and went off without a hitch. The food and beverages were as good as any 5 star restaurant on shore and the service was outstanding. What we really appreciated was the lack of lines, photographers, "special" jewelry sales, screaming kids, being nickeled and dimed plus the usual bill at the end of the cruise. As my wife stated, the cruise and guests were both very civilized. The entertainment was excellent and the crew to guest ratio meant the service over the top. We loved the REGENT cruise so much, we are booked on the brand new EXPLORER in September 2016. We can hardly wait. We feel the value of the REGENT cruises is definitely worth the expense.
