We arrived early in Rome & stayed at Crowne Royal hotel. This hotel is used by Royal Caribbean but we booked this on our own. It is a very nice hotel. However, there are no reastaurants or cafes in the area. So you can eat at the hotel or the one restaurant next door (but not breakfast). They do provide shuttle service to various parts of Rome.

We had an easy, fast embarkation around 1pm and enjoyed lunch in the Windjammer. We were able to put our clothes away before the muster drill. We had a balcony room & found it spacious enough. The ship although had some refurnishing done before our sailing, still looked worn in some areas in the rooms & around the ship. Our bathroom always had a funny smell.

Breakfast & lunch in the Windjammer were good. There is enough of a variety of foods that you always had something to choose.

It was kept very clean 2X a day.
