Checking off our "bucket list". This trip was the first on our list for the historical value in relation to my husband's ancestry. It was thrilling to cruise the middle Rhine and pass by Bacharach where his family originated. We do not have enough positive things to say about this experience on the Kvasir. The scenery was extremely beautiful. The trip was an immersion into history, with well thought-out tours with knowledgeable guides allowing us to experience other cultures and their history.

On board ship we experienced great food and attention, from the chef to the servers. The staff were very friendly and entertaining. It was very obvious they loved their job and were attentive to our every need. The state room was the utmost in comfort and cleanliness. We would make this a recommended trip to anyone. Viking, you surpassed our expectations from the departure from Amsterdam to the disembarkation in Basel.
