If you read some of the reviews you would never go on this ship however my trip was great the embarcadero was a bit slow with many passengers arriving at the same time.but they got there in the end. My cabin was inside but very comfortable and on par with P@O who I have sailed with many times. I found the food exceptional value for the money with the exception of bacon which was pretty bad most mornings. The rest upstairs and downstairs was great. The other meals were very good and I looked forward to them. The voyage until turning into the Mediterranean was mainly at sea with two port of calls in Africa both were not memorable

The crew entertainment Director Stephen was excellent and the hardest working director I have ever seen very good. The shows each evening were also good with an exceptional pianist and singer who along with his wife were fantastic as were the Opera Singers world class. The two Enrichment speakers were outstanding both experts in their fields. Both were able to command full houses and were popular with the passengers. So in my very humble experience of over 30 cruises this one was very good and exceptional value. The crew were delightful and the ship spotless.
