This was the first opportunity my wife and I have had to get away as a couple since having the kids, just as a couple enjoying each others company without distractions.
A first time cruise for both of us, however we were well informed as my folks are huge cruisers and do 2-3 each year so plenty of advice was on offer.
We decided to sail with Carnival as the timeframe suited my leave and the value for money was attractive. (I couldn't believe we got an ocean suite for so little compared to other cruise lines).
Cabin Review
Ocean Suite
The cabin was huge, very roomy with a nice big balcony. Plenty of wardrobe space, nice, clean and tidy. Definitely worth paying a little extra for.
Our cabin steward was first rate and attentive. Always happy and smiling and knew everybody's first name on our deck!
