My wife and I are 26 and 27 respectively and are from South Central Louisiana. We both love to travel.

We have a hard time picking between this vacation and our honeymoon as our favorite. It was a great mixture of relaxation and fun. DW and I have been on a cruise before with NCL. However, it was an older ship which NCL does not even use anymore so you can't really compare the two.

Embarkation: We wanted to board as early as possible to get as much out of this vacation as we could. We arrived at ezcruise parking at 11:00. Right when we got out our car a shuttle bus passed us to go to the terminal. One of the attendants told us there would be another shuttle in 5 minutes and that was not accurate. We waited another 20 minutes in the parking lot for a shuttle, and once we finally got into the bus it took another 20-25 minutes to get to the terminal with traffic and loading/unloading and dropping ONE person off at the Carnival cruise ship. Needless to say, we could have dropped the luggage off ourselves and walked it faster. Well, we got there just in time and we were some of the very first people to board the ship a little before 12:00. We did the online check-in and embarkation was a breeze.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was in the aft part of the ship down a hallway in the aft middle of the ship. It was a long walk from the stairs/elevators, but not bad. It was a very quiet location.
