We are a family of four. Our children are both college aged boys. We were looking for a great itinerary (we've done this itinerary twice before) a good price and something to upgrade from Carnival. This cruise was 99% wonderful. The Divina is the most AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS ship ever. Starting with the sparkling Swarovski Crystal Staircase in the atrium, it continued to unique and beautiful decor in every part of the ship. I liked that there were separate spaces for all the bars and lounges. They weren't "in" the public corridor. Seeing the pictures ahead of time, I was expecting it to be beautiful, but we were all blown away.

This itinerary sailed to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel (with the opportunity to go across to Playa Del Carmen) and Nassau, Bahamas. Dunns River Falls and Mystic Mountain are a must do in Jamaica. Book the excursion through the ship, it is worth it and fairly priced. You will take a 20 minute "ski-lift" over the top of a tropical rainforest to the top of Mystic Mountain. Ride Bobsled Jamaica as fast as you can then cool off in the infinity pool overlooking the harbor and the ship. There is a wonderful waterslide and the opportunity for photos is incredible. From there, it's only a mile to get to Dunn's River Falls, where you will walk up the gently cascading waterfalls. Try to go it alone, instead of getting stuck with a tour group. It's worth it. Don't forget to bring water shoes and and waterproof camera!

Grand Cayman has so many things to see. We've done the Turtle Farm, "Hell" and swimming with the Stingrays twice before (they are awesome!), so this time we opted to do the Dolphin Swim at Dolphin Cove. Expensive but worth it. You can't take your own camera, and their photos are $$$, but we got over 250 photos of the four of us that are incredible. It is a very intimate experience, just 6 per group. You will get to hug and kiss the dolphin, and we did the swim, so we got to ride on them and be pushed by our feet. Truly exhilarating! We ended the day with some time at 7-mile beach (a bit crowded) and some shopping of course.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

The cabins were great. We had adjoining balcony cabins on Deck 13. They were large and so were the balconies, which also opened to one another.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Don't waste your time going to Atlantis, head straight for Cabbage beach down the road. Gorgeous!
