Flights all arranged by R.C.I. - all went smoothly as usual. R.C.I. representatives were easily visible at Rome airport, escorted us to a Coach with our luggage for the journey to the Port. Check-in at the Port was first class and we were soon in our Junior Suite, then straight up to the Windjammer for lunch.
This was a good introduction to a firstclass dining experience with lots of choice and a high standard of cleanliness. Did not go to the Theatre but there was excellent music and entertainment all around the ship. Found the service in the bars to be excellent with friendly bar staff. The Ship overall was a credit to R.C.I.
Did not take any ship excursions as we had previously been to all the Ports so just went ashore on our own. Disembarkation was a very smooth and organised operation. The coach to take us to the Airport was ready and waiting and proved a fitting hassle free end to our cruise. Return flights with B.A. were right on time.

Junior Suite
Absolutely firstclass with a bath tub and a walk-in wardrobe so more than enough space. Large balcony which unfortunately, had a hughe overhang which kept out the sun. Superb Cabin Attendant.

Been many times - just love Barcelona.
Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)
The Hop on Hop off bus is a great way of seeing this wonderful Island.
Malta (Valletta)
Been here many times & just get around the Island on the local buses which are very cheap. Took the lift from the Port - only costs 2 euros with free return - which took us up to the Baracca Gardens. Returned to the Gardens at 4 p.m. & witnessed the daily Gun Salute and listened to Sir Winston Churchill's stirring speech.
Taormina (Messina)
Lots to see in Taormina & well worth taxi ride.
Marseille
Old traditional fishing port with superb cafes - well worth the effort of a short walk.
