The cruise started in Honolulu, with an overnight in Maui, onto Kona and Hilo. Then five days crossing the Pacific with disembarkation in Vancouver. All was wonderful - balcony on the ninth level, very good meals and excellent weather. I went parasailing on Waikiki beach - highly recommend this (and thankfully I did not have a big breakfast). Took the helicopter ride over Maui and bus tours for the other three islands.

Was able to stay in Vancouver for two days and enjoyed my first visit in that part of the world. We had a Hawaiian cultural group on board and it was wonderful to make our own orchid leis, learn how to hula and play guitars with authentic island music.

The entertainment shows were good, production shows were very good - not thrilled with the cruise director or the casino host (who showed a strong dislike for Americans). Did enjoy how enthusiastic and pleasant our dance instructor, Chico was with ALL the different passengers he had to try to deal with.
