We loved the Caribbean Princess trip across the Atlantic. The staff was wonderful, all of them, and as busy as the ship was, with many passengers, they made the experience terrific. Princess is our favorite cruise line and that will not change. The Hotel General Manager, Andreas Pitsch, was amazing, approachable and as busy as he is in his position, takes the time to speak to passengers. He made a special trip to the Crown Grill to give me a hug, knowing it was my birthday celebration. Our server, Jacek, was the best. We loved him and he did a wonderful job. The cabin steward was terrific. Nikko, in the casino was terrific. Lee Childers, the cruise director did an admirable job as did his staff, particularly Theo. We just cannot say enough about the crew on this ship. They were wonderful

For us, embarkation was a piece of cake with no issues. Because it was a transatlantic and the weather was cold, it was crowded inside. We did have an issue about sometimes not being able to sit in the Princess Theatre for shows since there were so many people on board. We did like the entertainment, however, and one show, in particular, with the singers and dancers was outstanding. We wish there would be more shows like that.

We loved Liverpool, Hamburg, and our visit in France. We were sorry we did not get to go to Wales but believe the captain made a smart choice in not stopping there due to high seas and weather.

Our cabin was kept beautifully and the steward was terrific.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We rented a car and spent time at familiar places in Fort Lauderdale, where we have been many times before beginning or ending a Princess cruise.
