Perspective

We sailed the Adriatic with Rhapsody of the Seas in early May 2016 from Venice. I have sailed on 14 cruises with 6 lines ranging from mass market to luxury. I base my review on value/$. RCI seems to be able to select a great variety of interesting ports - the reason for our selection.

Ship and Room - the grand suite was very well laid out and comfortable. The best room at sea for the price. The safe was too small for a laptop, barely fit an iPad. The balcony was a good size, but chairs a little uncomfortable. Our cabin attendant was perfect. I never saw his cart, he never interrupted private time, but he kept the cabin perfect, with ice twice a day, towels, toiletries, etc. Perfect job. Not intrusive. The ship itself was a throw back to the 80s or 90s in color and style. It was not kept up like other ships we have been on with some visible rust, old décor, warn out. But, that really did not affect the experience.
