We chose this cruise because of the variety of ports it visited. We stopped at 9 different ports in 10 days. In hindsight I wish we had been a little less ambitions because we only had 1 day at sea to enjoy this beautiful ship and we were so exhausted from all day touring we did not participate in the ship activities as much as we usually do.

We arrived in Barcelona a day before we embarked. Our hotel and transfer from airport to hotel and from hotel to the ship were all arranged through Carnival. We were very pleased with the quality of the hotel and its location near the center of the city. A breakfast at the hotel was included and there were Carnival people to assist us getting on to the correct bus to the port. Embarking took a little longer than I expected, but with all of the hotel buses arriving at about the same time, that was to be expected. Once on the ship, things went smoothly and our luggage was delivered promptly.

Cabin 8C

Cabin was comfortable and had adequate storage. In fact we did not even use the storage drawers under the sofa. The shower was as large or larger than we expected. The bed and bedding were of a high quality and very comfortable after a long day of touring.
