Generally good, but too many people, lousy port, read between the lines.

Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Went with friends who already booked it. We usually cruise on the smaller Radiance Class. We also were spoiled cruising on a 200 passenger Viking "ship". But we went with high expectations.

Never again will I cruise on a Freedom class and forget the bigger ones. Want coffee? Stand in line. Want Food? Stand in line. Want to ask a question at Guest services? Stand in line. Want a beer? Want to go to a different floor? Wait 5 min for an elevator car. Seems like it has the same amount of elevators as the smaller ships. Also our cabin was so far down the hall we spent a lot of time just going to and from it.

If I want to spend time indoors in a crowded mall, I will go to the mall.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Cabin was great. Same *exact* cabin as the smaller ships but a bit longer with a longer couch. Decent sized Veranda but had to shove a folded compass paper in the divider door to stop it from rattling all night. It was also very far from the elevators.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Horrible. Disembarkation was nuts. At least immigration went fairly quickly. No covered areas to load busses or cars. Old and run down.
