Cabin: Outside with Porthole

This was a cruise booked through Saga. Picked up from home address to Newcastle where booking in went smoothly. Cabin was for solo occupancy and the bed was bigger than a single bed but a bit smaller than a double. Cabin had plenty of room to store clothes and case.My mobile phone would not work due to dispute between o2 and Fred Olsen and wi-fi was £13 a day so had to rely on roaming when I could get a signal. We had an 'all in' package which isn't 'all in' - eg you could have house wine, beer or spirits but you could not have a hot chocolate as this was extra (where is the logic in that) The on-board cabin account on the in-house tv didn't seem to make much sense either. The food was good, the staff were efficient and friendly.I kept finding slips of paper in my room trying to get me to buy duty free drinks, chocolates, perfume etc which gave me the impression that they were their just to make money.A pleasant trip with a few niggles.

Cabin Review

Outside with Porthole

Cabin F

Cabin had a good sized single bed, plenty of room for storage and a large picture window. The tv had BBC worl news and Sky world news and several films throughout the day. There were plenty of continental plug sockets. There was a small safety deposit box in the wardrobe. There were tea and coffee making facilities. There was air conditioning but it did not seem to work very well and the extractor fan in the bathroom was permanently on.
