It was the only River Cruise in Italy that we could find. What a dream trip! We and our fellow cruisers feel this was the most luxurious vacation ever. The River Countess was updated, modern, bright, elegant and impeccable, the staff was top rate: attentive, polite and friendly. The cabin was a delight, just fine for two people (traveling with my mother). Even the smallest items were not overlooked. Entertainment was superb, excursions were well planned and very informative with excellent guides. My favorite was a vineyard in Verona with an elegant lunch and of course plenty of wine.

The food was exquisite and all inclusive, with drinks any time of day or night. The head waiter found me and asked if I prefer gluten free as in my boarding remarks. That was remarkable! There was always a coffee bar, fresh water in a glass carafe in the room, umbrellas, mints, an aluminum water bottle, as I said, nothing left wanting.

Would highly highly recommend Uniworld, River Countess and Italy. In fact, some passengers were on their second trip with this exact cruise. That says it all! Truly cannot wait to travel with Uniworld again.
